Job Description
The Construction Superintendent will manage day-to-day site operations for commercial interior projects. This role requires maintaining daily logs, conducting toolbox talks, and updating project management software. Task analysis and adherence to project schedules are crucial, as is overseeing quality control for elements such as ceilings, millwork, and high-end finishes. The successful candidate will coordinate look-ahead scheduling to ensure timely project completion while enforcing safety standards and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
The work environment involves daytime shifts for exterior work, typically starting between 6:30–7:00 AM, lasting 8–10 hours, and dependent on weather conditions. Interior work primarily occurs during night shifts, starting between 5:30–6:00 PM for 8 hours. Weekend work is rare, approximately 20% of projects for specific tasks. Travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement for drives over 1.5 hours. A vehicle allowance is negotiable for exceptional candidates. Two additional openings are available in North Carolina, with potential travel to Georgia for extended periods, with travel expenses covered. Benefits include 15 business days of vacation, sick, and personal time, medical, dental, vision insurance with premiums paid by the company, and eligibility for a 401K and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after meeting certain requirements.
