Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
- We are seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager onsite.
- This role involves working closely with the team to ensure the smooth operation and completion of projects, including a current large-scale project in Watertown and an upcoming healthcare project in Alexandria Bay.
- Assist the Project Manager with various onsite activities.
- Manage submittals, RFIs, daily reports, and meeting minutes effectively.
- Participate in team activities with a willingness to contribute and collaborate.
- Support the Watertown project initially, transitioning to the healthcare project in Alexandria Bay.
- Proficiency in handling submittals, RFIs, daily reports, and meeting minutes.
- Experience in commercial construction and change order management.
- Ability to work in construction environments and manage onsite tasks.
- Experience with construction projects valued at $10M and above.
- Willingness to travel for projects across upstate New York, including Ithaca, Binghamton, and Rochester.
- The work environment is onsite in a trailer located in Alexandria Bay.
- The role involves working closely with the general contractor and managing subcontracted tasks.
- The Assistant Project Manager should be comfortable working in a construction setting and be prepared for travel as projects may extend to various locations in upstate New York.
