Summer Projects May Include The Following Responsibilities
Compensation & Relocation: Our undergraduate Human Resources internships offer an hourly rate between $18.50 - $38.50 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50 miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.

To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status. Thermo Fisher does not offer employment in this position to holders of F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT Visas for the purpose of acquiring practical experience.

Summer Projects May Include The Following Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of prioritized innovation projects in areas such as media development, cell line engineering, and high-throughput screening.
- Draft experimental study plans under the mentorship of a senior scientist to define objectives, methods, and success criteria.
- Conduct laboratory experiments using established protocols, detailing procedures and data in accordance with good scientific practices.
- Analyze and interpret experimental results; summarize findings in clear and concise reports.
- Share interim and final project results with the scientific team and collaborators via slide decks and verbal updates.
- Contribute to scientific discussions in project and team meetings by asking questions, offering insights, and incorporating feedback.
- Support related R&D efforts by assisting in small-scale experiments or side projects led by other scientists.
- Participate in weekly check-ins and site events to integrate with the broader team and develop communication and collaboration skills.

- Undergraduate, upperclassmen, or Master's student completing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field between December 2026 and June 2027.
- 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.
- Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
- Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
