Job Title: Buyer
Job Description
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing HFS Spend within the respective Category. Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication between suppliers and Location planners and buyers (RM, Components, OSP).
- Develop a robust structured supplier onsite contact plan to ensure HFS priority and assess performance in terms of production, delivery, and quality.
- Create standardized KPI performance reports (OTD, Lead Times, Capacity) and organize routine feedback sessions for suppliers regarding their performance status.
- Negotiate and monitor recovery plans when necessary.
- Collaborate with Locations to implement second sourcing for critical products, focusing primarily on Raw Materials.
- Lead, co-lead, or support initiatives to meet objectives, such as Kaizen workshops, Consignment Programs, and Stocking Programs.
- Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Purchase Order, and Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Experience in buying CNC machined and stamped parts.
- A solid technical back ground .
- Experience with coatings is beneficial.
