As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will design, implement, and execute automated test solutions for modern data platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable automated test frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers.
- Validate data transformations within Delta Lake tables and monitor production pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, QA, and Business Analysts to define test cases.
- Document test strategies, cases, results, and maintain compliance traceability.
- Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of data quality issues.
- Strong experience with Python, SQL, and Databricks .
- Bachelor’s degree 1 year relevant experience OR 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience with automated test frameworks and data quality validation.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and Data Lakehouse transformations.
- Familiarity with BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).
