MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Audio-Visual (A/V) Engineer to provide Part-Time-On-Call (PTOC) support while working Remotely.
In this role, you will provide essential support for both the technical and operational aspects of ongoing projects. Your work will span the engineering, design, maintenance, and lifecycle management of A/V systems, while ensuring high standards of performance, documentation, and client satisfaction. You will help define and implement system requirements, sustain legacy systems, support system testing and commissioning, and uphold technical quality across diverse A/V environments.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Read, interpret, and mark-up AV drawings
- Engineer and design complex audio-visual systems
- Gather and process system requirements directly from clients
- Develop test reports and acceptance testing documentation
- Support testing and quality assurance activities across deployed systems
- Support the commissioning and turnover of systems to clients
- Up to 25% travel
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- 5 years of experience in the A/V industry
- Must have prior experience utilizing Crestron Control Systems control and design
- Experience with video distribution systems (Crestron, Extron, etc.)
- Must be familiar with DSP technologies (Biamp, Clear One, Crestron, Extron)
- Experience with video and web conferencing technologies (Cisco)
- AVIXA Essentials of AV or CTS certification
- Crestron DMC-E certification
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active or current U.S. government secret security clearance
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
