Job Description
Aids recruitment for high volume, clerical, administrative, and /or service related positions for the organization. Utilizes basic sourcing avenues to find and place qualified candidates. Assists with sourcing strategies, recruitment and retention activities.
Job Responsibility
- Aids recruitment for high volume internal recruitment related positions for the organization.
- Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house applicant tracking system to identify qualified candidates.
- Assist in pre-screens and interviews during recruiting process; maintains resume database and candidate for area(s) of focus.
- Conducts follow-up calls with hiring managers and new hires to address hiring quality improvement initiatives.
- Participates in system-wide recruiting events/initiatives, as necessary; acts as liaison to vendors and potential candidates for assigned recruitment area(s).
- Monitors vacancy and turnover rates for assigned recruitment areas and makes recommendations to address retention issues.
- Incorporates metrics to define success/failure and shares with key stakeholders.
- Operates with direct guidance and work assignments are generally straightforward and of moderate complexity.
- Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
- Previous recruitment experience, preferred
- Prior union experience, preferred
