About The Role
The Associate Project Management Director manages a teamresponsible for providing advanced management services for our globalmanufacturing technologies client to achieve the company's strategic businessobjectives.
This job is part of the Project Management function responsiblefor the management of projects from initiation through completion. This rolewill act as a player/coach managing a project management team while leading constructionprojects for multi-use manufacturing facilities nationally. Role requires 20%-30%travel primarily in the Eastern Time Zone.
What You'll Do
Provide formal supervision toemployees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performanceevaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage theteam's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, andcross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed.
Oversee all phases of projectmanagement including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, andexecution.
Ensure that contractprocurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate,timely, and compliant.
Monitor billing, accountsreceivable collection, expense monitoring and control, staffing, and fullP&L to EBITDA.
Work cross-functionally withother business lines to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
Identify complex projectrisks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
Apply a broad knowledge of thebusiness, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others toachieve team and departmental objectives.
Lead by example and modelbehaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopta different point of view while being guided by policies and departmentalplans.
Identify and solve technicaland operational problems of complexity.
Understand and recognize thebroader impact across the department.
Improve and change existingmethods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The maximum salary this role position is $40,560 annually [or $19.50 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

What You'll Need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in theUnited States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel,Outlook), Smartsheet, Power BI. Experience in D365 or similar financialplatform is beneficial.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
- Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mentality.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
