Job Description

• Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules
• Utilize Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system to input Master Schedule build plans, track material availability, status kit readiness, release shop orders, and maintain all shop order records and inventory integrity
• Update and maintain make items lead times within MRP system
• Manage floor stock of program components
• Work jointly with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedule and address any issues in a timely manner
• Work with Materials Planners to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates to ensure accuracy of planning
• Provide hardware status, updates and performance statistics to program team based on status of hardware through Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  
  

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related degree or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge and/or experience in scheduling or supply chain planning preferred.
• Strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage large amounts of quantitative data
• Proficient in the use Microsoft Office software; working knowledge of relational data bases.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or other enterprise planning and scheduling suite
• Ability to actively listen to customer and plant issues, efficiently troubleshoot problems and implement solutions in a timely and customer focused manner
• Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient organization, conflict management, and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment
  
  

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $53,000 - $97,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
