Works under direct supervision to assist and support the designing of new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products.
Main Responsibilities
- Follows established procedures to assist in the design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.
- Assists in the development of engineering documentation for new products or product changes.
- Sources necessary information to other specialists to support coordination of interrelated design and assure project completion.
- Works under the guidance of a supervisor or senior team member and follows provided instructions to manage laboratory equipment and coordinate test station setups in support of product development, in accordance with established procedures.
