Architectural Designer/Drafter - 6 month contract
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer/Drafter for a multifamily project with a duration of six months, with the potential for a long-term engagement. This role requires architects with 5-7 years of experience to engage in intensive production through construction documentation using Revit. The position focuses heavily on drafting and design tasks.
Responsibilities
- Engage in various projects across different sectors from design development through to construction administration.
- Assist with feasibility studies, conduct site surveys, and gather information from clients during meetings.
- Compile data, perform design computations, and execute code analysis under the guidance of Project Managers and Project Architects.
- Coordinate in-house design activities and maintain communication with clients regarding project status.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for construction documentation, renderings, and design tasks.
- Employ Photoshop and SketchUp for renderings and other design elements of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in the field.
- Proficiency in Revit. MUST HAVE REVIT EXPERIENCE
- Experience in multifamily projects is a plus.
- Experience in residential architecture.
- Familiarity with project architecture and architectural design.
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
