What You’ll Do
As an Application Engineer I, you’ll take ownership of your projects, confidently design Building Automation Systems (BAS), and work alongside a team of dynamic and committed professionals. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help drive customer satisfaction and project success.
In This Role, You Will
- Design & Draft with Precision
- Independently support the design of building automation systems using Delta Controls
- Produce sharp, detailed wiring diagrams, floor plans, and as-builts
- Integrate innovative, energy-saving strategies into every system design
- Assist in preparing competitive budgets and energy utilization calculations
- Support design/build proposals that highlight clear, winning strategies
- Engage assertively with customers to gather technical requirements
- Confidently communicate design concepts and system benefits
- Work closely with account managers to develop strong, competitive proposals
- Own your growth — master Delta Controls, BACnet, system optimization
- Collaborate with experienced mentors to tackle increasingly complex projects
- Decisive, enthusiastic, verbal, persuasive, and competitive in problem-solving
- Self-assured, innovative, open-minded, and eager for change
- Detailed, dutiful, adaptable, and driven to achieve top-tier results
- Loyal and committed to the success of their team and customers
- Driven and big picture oriented
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in HVAC, controls, or BAS design
- Basic understanding of DDC, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with a relentless attention to detail
- LEED GA/AP Certification
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
- PE License or ASHRAE Membership
