Job Description
The Administrative Assistant is the central point of contact for the customer and building occupants for administrative and logistics support at CMI’s customer site in Laredo, TX.
Key Job Functions
- Takes service calls, tracks and maintains service call records in the national computerized maintenance management system (NCMMS).
- Responsible for other service calls, inspections, and work order records from other building service providers such as elevator maintenance and Custodial Services, regardless of if those services are covered under the subject contract.
- Responsible for service calls for work not under the scope of this contract (i.e., performing a central service call desk function for the facilities, regardless of who is responsible for responding to the service call).
- Provides (at a minimum) NCMMS functions such as follows:
- Print and issue work orders
- Close work orders
- Accept and input service calls and work orders from other service contractors
- Receive and process tenant service requests
- Update and maintain inventories
- Address GSALink spark data
- Create reports as requested
- Attend customer training as required
- HS Diploma required, Bachelors preferred
- Proficiency in the use of the National Computerized Maintenance Management System (NCMMS) and/or Maximo
- Experience with work order tracking
- Experience with Word Processing software
- Must be fluent writing and speaking English
- Great customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Must be proactive and organized
- Effective written and spoken communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass government background check
