The NSI Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of the company's financial results.
Responsibilities
- Processing of manual entries into General Ledger
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and close processes
- Assist with ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures
- Variance analysis; actual versus budget and outlook
- Account reconciliation
- Ad hoc reporting as requested
- Researching accounting system related issues/processes
- Assist with internal/external audits
- Providing support within Finance and as a business partner to other departments
- Preparing accounting related information for payroll processing (as a backup)
- Assisting/providing backup as needed on AP/AR/Payroll functions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in automated accounting systems, report writers, and Microsoft Office Suite
