Position Overview: Lenox Public Schools is seeking a temporary custodian to support the custodial and maintenance needs of Lenox Memorial Middle & High School. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 48 weeks.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine custodial and cleaning duties throughout the school building.Operate and maintain custodial and cleaning equipment.Assist with basic building and maintenance tasks as needed.Move furniture, supplies, equipment, and other materials.Perform other related custodial and maintenance duties as assigned.Qualifications: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Some mechanical knowledge and general familiarity with basic building or maintenance tasks.Willingness and ability to learn the proper use of custodial and cleaning equipment.HOURS: Approximately 3040 hours per week, scheduled between 5:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.DURATION: This is a temporary position, beginning as soon as possible and expected to continue for approximately 48 weeks.BENEFITS: Benefits are available for this position.COMPENSATION: Per Contract $19.55 - $30.79 per hour.Interested persons should submit a letter of interest, a current resume, and two letters of recommendation.
