INFORMATION:
Lenox Public Schools is seeking candidates for a full-time Spanish teaching position for grades
6-12. Ability to teach advanced level high school Spanish including Advanced Placement
content is essential. Experience with ACTFL proficiency guidelines is a major plus. An
understanding of and enthusiasm for the Seal of Biliteracy program is important. MA licensure
in Spanish 6 -12 required. Ability (not licensure) to also teach some lower-level French or Latin
preferred.
HOURS PER WEEK: .6 FTE
COMPENSATION: Per Unit A Contract – Exhibit A 2026-27 Salary Scale
Lenox Public Schools is committed to professional growth. Newly hired teachers are eligible for
tuition and fee reimbursement for a Master’s degree, equivalent to the tuition and fees at
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, in accordance with district policy.
