Description and Requirements
Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) Business Control Team is seeking a self-motivated intern to build a global end-to-end analytics framework supporting dynamic pricing strategy. You will work with a cross-functional team that includes business 4P team and analytic team, to understand existing local methodologies and design a scalable and automated pricing solution with advanced analytics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills, including communicating clearly and convincingly. They will need to have the ability to work independently as a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in an ever-evolving environment, and adapt messaging across different audiences. While they will need to work independently, they will have support within the organization to help guide and provide feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from internal databases; Conduct web scraping or API-based data collection.
- Conduct statistical modeling and exploratory data analysis to quantify the price contribution of product features (e.g., CPU, RAM, GPU, display, storage).
- Build and automate Power BI dashboards to visualize key metrics and business insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to document and consolidate analytical approaches.
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline current manual reporting processes.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics or related field
- Knowledge in statistical modeling, including regression analysis, correlation, clustering, or elasticity modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and comfort collaborating with international teams
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in Morrisville, NC at least 3 days/week
