Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerical Worker to join our team. This role involves providing essential administrative support across various office functions, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in office management or clerical roles. Bilingual proficiency is a plus, as well as familiarity with medical or dental office procedures. Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries
- Answer and direct multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office software
- Organize and file documents efficiently, ensuring easy retrieval of information
- Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for staff or clients
- Handle customer support tasks, providing excellent service via phone, email, or in person
- Proofread correspondence and documents for accuracy and clarity
- Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Perform general office management duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment
- Provide administrative assistance to various departments as needed, including personal assistant tasks or medical/dental receptionist duties
Requirements
- Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles, with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Word a plus
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and document proofreading
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills; experience with multi-line phone systems preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong computer literacy is advantageous
- Prior experience in office experience or administrative support roles is preferred
