Car Wash Asst. Manager

Assistant General Manager:

We are seeking a high energy, experienced leader to help lead our teams and deliver our customers a one-of-a-kind car wash experience. As an Assistant General Manager at Gas N Wash, you will be responsible for learning about the day-to-day operations of the wash and provide support for the General Manager. Assistant General Manager Job Responsibilities:

• A strong emphasis on providing an exceptional customer service experience for our guests.
• The ability to present, promote, and sell car wash memberships
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• The ability to help train and develop new employees.
• The ability to motivate and coach the team as needed.
• The ability to prioritize responsibilities and multitask.
• The ability to work well in a team environment and individually.
• Learn to guide cars safely into the car wash tunnel, learn the operations of the tunnel and continue to practice tunnel safety.
• Strong emphasis on working with the general manager to help grow sales volume and site profitability, as well as driving business results.
• Help maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of car wash facility.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed for guests and staff safety.
• Continue to learn and maintain an understanding of car wash equipment; troubleshooting and identifying maintenance issues, perform basic maintenance, and work with the maintenance teams to resolve any issues.
• Knowledge of all chemicals and the ability to make chemical transfers safely.
• Demonstrate a high level of guest satisfaction by learning to handle any inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
• Strong emphasis on sales, customer satisfaction and membership retention.
• Basic computer skills.
• Any duties assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years of management or leadership experience.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of business operations.
• Exceptional leadership skills.
• Excellent organization and time management capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and a professional attitude.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to work efficiently outdoors in all 4 seasons.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Mechanically Inclined.
• Travel between locations for training and development purposes.
• The ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week.
