Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate QMAP Certified Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to residents with daily living activities while ensuring medication is administered safely and accurately according to QMAP standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals with varying needs, including those with dementia and developmental disabilities. This role is essential in ensuring that residents receive their medications safely and effectively while promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their job and perform all tasks needed in the facility to the best of their ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications to residents according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications.
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation for each resident.
- Prepare and serve meals according to residents’ dietary needs and prepared menu.
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, common areas, kitchen and dining room.
- Help maintain cleanliness, order, and structure throughout the facility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support as needed.
- Follow individualized care plans and document care provided.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior.
Qualifications:
- QMAP Certification (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
- Previous caregiving experience in assisted living, memory care, or similar setting not required. New QMAPs are encouraged to apply!
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must pass background check, CAPS check, and meet health requirements.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
