What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Land Surveyor position at Lennon Smith Souleret Engineering?
LSSE Civil Engineers and Surveyors is looking for a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. We are a 180 person civil engineering and surveying consulting firm with over 10 locations primarily located in western Pennsylvania. LSSE’s projects support public infrastructure and community development. Our clients include local boroughs and townships, water and sewer authorities, industrial and residential land developers, and utility companies.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a Land Surveyor.
- SIT is required, PLS preferred; must have (or ability to acquire) PA and/or OH licensure.
- Working knowledge of Topcon-GPS and total stations a must and experience in performing ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Construction Stakeout, As built Surveys, Utility line Route Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Property and Boundary Surveys is required.
- Working knowledge of Carlson or AutoCAD Civil 3D programs required.
- The candidate must be a motivated team player that is willing to work overtime hours and travel locally when required.
