Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service requests, catering orders, or special event needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; previous retail math or food industry experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts using strong time management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, responsible serving practices, and alcohol regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations.
