The Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow reports directly to the Engineering Manager. As a Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow, you would be responsible for leading the design, development, and evolution of enterprise‑grade ServiceNow solutions with a strong focus on Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD).
This role requires a hands‑on who combines deep platform expertise, modern UX development and integration architecture to deliver scalable, secure, and business‑aligned ServiceNow solutions.
Responsibilities include working closely with the product management team to ensure we deliver the best user experiences.

Core Platform Skills
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.

Your Responsibilities On The Team
- Own the end‑to‑end ServiceNow implementation across HRSD.
- Design scalable, upgrade‑safe solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices and enterprise standards.
- Lead technical design reviews and architecture governance
- Optimize customer experience using modern UI and AI‑assisted workflows
- Design & Architect ServiceNow Integrations using Integration hub and custom APIs
- Ensure data security, role‑based access, and compliance
- Platform adoption on new tools and technologies available by ServiceNow
- Lead adoption of ServiceNow AI capabilities
- Identify opportunities where AI meaningfully reduces manual effort and improves service outcomes
- Act as a trusted advisor to Business leaders, product owners & enterprise architect
- Influence roadmap planning, platform strategy, and prioritization decisions
- Promotes a supportive and collaborative teamwork environment across diverse groups
- Evaluates interdependencies; thinks critically / systemically when solving problems

- Advanced ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts)
- Flow Designer and advanced workflow orchestration
- Performance tuning, upgrade planning, and technical debt management
- Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)

- UI Builder and Next Experience
- Playbook experience
- Integration Hub and enterprise integrations
- Now Mobile Studio
- 8 years of overall IT experience
- 6 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development and architecture experience
- Proven experience leading complex, enterprise‑scale ServiceNow implementations of HRSD
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
