Program Summary:
Lennar’s Technology Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship beginning in June, in which associates apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world projects and challenges. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills, and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community), hands-on training, and teambuilding. Upon program completion, high-performing interns may have an opportunity to return to Lennar as part of the Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) program.

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork, and to receive/return phone messages. Standing is required for filing and copying.

Responsibilities:
- Ingest, analyze, and organize raw data into easy-to-use data sets for analysts, data scientists, and machine learners
- Assist in building data systems and pipelines leveraging dbt, Snowflake, and Prefect
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
- Build algorithms and prototypes
- Combine raw information from different sources
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Identify opportunities for data acquisition
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects
- Current Junior graduating from a 4-year college or University within 2 years (preferred)
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in statistics, economics, math, computer science, or similar field (preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. - Proactive, not reactive, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take in loose requirements and produce a scalable and reliable data infrastructure
- Confident in learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Expertise with DBT, Snowflake, Funnel, and Prefect
- Designs, builds, and monitors key data pipelines from end to end
- Ability to work with various technologies and develop skills for new tools, platforms, and digital workflows
- Open to engagement in personal or professional development through learning opportunities (e.g., certifications, courses, professional networks)
