We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Transmission Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough transmission diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repair
- Repair and rebuild automatic transmissions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs and installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency in the shop.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Transmission Technician or Mechanic is required
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance practices is essential.
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair and powertrain systems is advantageous.
- Experience with alignment procedures and auto body repair is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, including diagrams and troubleshooting techniques.
