In Home Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our home care team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to a female client within her own home. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, driving to doctor's appointments, light house chores and errands. Ensuring resident rights are upheld, and contributing to the overall well-being of individuals with diverse needs.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as showering, dressing and grooming assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Support clients in maintaining their rights and dignity while providing compassionate care.
• Document client progress and report any concerns or changes in condition to the manager.
• Documentation per agency requirements.
• Transportation and assist to doctor's appointments and grocery store as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care or health care is preferred.
• Must adhere to charting standards
• ACTIVE driver's license with transportation
• Pass a background check
• Must be able to download charting app onto electronic device and be competent
• CPR certified
• Knowledge of client rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Strong communication skills.
• Compassionate attitude towards working with individuals that are aged and disabled.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in all caregiving activities. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
