Press Brake Operator

• Job Summary:** The Press Brake Operator is responsible to prepare and
  
  

run the press brake machine to bend and form parts and materials for

vehicles. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** - Preparation and run bend setups

and forming operations - Work with supervisor to ensure material for

each job is on schedule - Requisition parts and equipment as necessary -

Liaise with supervisor on problems to achieve efficient repair -

Maintain a clean and tidy work area - Complete all documentation

including inspection sheets, certificates, and receipts applying

signatures as appropriate - Identify abnormalities and repairs required

as result of internal actions and advise the supervisor accordingly -

Identify areas of process improvement, cost and waste reduction - Work

in an efficient and timely manner - Undertake relevant training and

development as required - Carry out work orders within a realistic time

line ensuring that deadlines are met - Maintain cooperative working

relationships, and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for a diverse

population - Record all hours worked accurately **ADDITIONAL JOB

FUNCTIONS:** - General maintenance of the press brake machine - Adhere

to and carry out existing work practices, procedures and policies -

Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated

guidelines where appropriate - Understand and comply with safety and

• EXPERIENCE:** Minimum of 3 years\' experience working with Press Brake
  
  

Machine **EDUCATION:** High school diploma or GED equivalent

• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:** - Must have full understanding of
