What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician (Assigned by Third Party Employer) position at Lenawee Intermediate School District - MI?
SUMMARY:
Perform skilled maintenance assignments necessary to ensure the proper upkeep and efficient operation of all LISD buildings, grounds and equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Michigan driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related skilled trade
Preferred:

Valid license, journeyperson card, or accredited certification in one or more of the following:
- Building Maintenance & Alterations
- General Building Contractor
- Low Voltage Electrical
- Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) S-5 Water Works System Operator Certification, or the ability to obtain the initial certification within two (2) years of employment.
- Experience with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Up to 260 days; up to 8 hours per day.
Grade = E Hourly, Non-Exempt
$25.63 (Includes Third Party Premium)
