What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPI Trainer position at Lenawee Intermediate School District - MI?
- Trainer will provide up to 10 initial and/or refresher Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Physical Skills professional learning sessions a year.
- Trainer will provide verbal intervention training.
- Trainer will teach individuals how to identify, respond to, prevent, and de-escalate low, medium, and high-risk crisis behaviors with both restrictive and non-restrictive methods.
- Trainer must be able to perform all restrictive response methods.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Hold an active Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Physical Skills trainer certification
