Lenape Valley Foundation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join this mission‑driven team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be immersed in the full accounting cycle, help strengthen financial processes that support a growing organization, and serve as a knowledgeable partner within a collaborative and supportive culture.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or CPA preferred)
- 3 years of progressively responsible experience in finance/accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Preferred experience with:
- Grants and contracts administration
- Non-profit and/or healthcare accounting
- Donor Compliance
- MIP Fund Accounting software
- Agility and resilience to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while remaining flexible and solution-focused
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role (with or without accommodation)
Your Role
- Prepare and record assets, liability, revenue, and expense entries according to GAAP
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets and profit & loss reports
- Review journal entries and bank reconciliations from junior accountants
- Manage grants and contracts accounting
- Upload monthly data from billing to accounting systems
- Support the other accounting team members
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist with data gathering and reconciliation for annual audits
