They work with both fire detection and suppression systems, often alongside other low-voltage security alarm equipment. Their duties include installing equipment, testing systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing customer supportDutiesInstall fire alarm systems according to blueprints, schematics, and codesRead and interpret technical drawings, including CAD files and system schematicsEnsure proper installation of fire alarm componentsExperience running and splicing wire and conduits per code. Experience Bending pipe.Perform testing and troubleshooting of installed fire alarm systems to ensure proper operationMaintain detailed documentation of installations, inspections, and service activitiesRequirementsProven experience with fire alarm installation, system design, or service technician roles5 years’ experience servicing and troubleshooting Fire Alarms Systems.Ability to interact with and communicate with customers and other employees in a professional manor.Fire Safety code and regulations knowledge.Clean and valid driver’s license.FASA/ BASA certification.Be able to lift 50 pounds.NOTIFER CERTIFIED a plus, not requiredNICET Level 1 a plus, not requiredEST CERTIFIED - a plus, not required
