Description
The Manager on Duty is responsible for providing ultimate customer service to all patrons while ensuring that a clean and safe facility is maintained to produce a positive community experience. Responsible for maintaining control through monitoring the Centennial Campus by overseeing the day-to-day operations in the place of the Member Services Manager.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Provide overall supervision of the Centennial Campus to ensure all staff, programs, and events are properly staffed and are occurring as scheduled.

Monitor rooms and rentals to verify doors and windows are locked and lights are off when not in use; assist in room set-ups, take-downs and assist in custodial duties to ensure a clean facility.

Responsible for safety and security of opening and closing procedures to include any Customer Service Representative responsibilities.

Perform continual observation, monitoring, and inspection, make recommendations, or corrections for: guest services; activities; events; facilities; compliance with procedures; improvements to operational effectiveness; condition and operation of property, or health and safety matters. Report findings at the end of each shift.

Listen to customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Performs basic cleaning, sanitizing, maintaining and up-keeping tasks.

Work varying schedules and hours as required to fulfill the duties of the position, including weekend, evening and holiday hours and be available in case of an emergency.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent.

Strong leadership experience, ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public preferred.

CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
Work Environment:
The physical demands of this position are minimal, however active. Perform hand and arm movements as when working on a computer keyboard or calculator. Reading handwritten information and writing legibly. Job may include standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending, or squatting.
