Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Develop legal strategies and provide sound legal advice based on case assessments
- Ensure deadlines are met and documentation is accurate and timely
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Entry-level applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance and internships or clinical experience
- Experienced attorneys should have a proven record of litigation, negotiation, or case management success
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) a plus, but not required
