Summer Intersession Purpose: Provide an opportunity for students to engage in rigorous, joyful learning as a bridge to the 2026-27 school year while building a sense of community and connection that fosters an environment to accelerate student learning around priority content standards. Assignment: District Nurse, Summer Enrichment Intersession Requirements: Possession of a Preliminary School Nurse Credential or a Professional Clear School Nurse Credential, Possession of a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California. Certification to conduct vision and audiometric assessments. Location: San Altos Elementary School Dates of Assignment: June 22, 2026 - July 17, 2026 (Student Days); plus professional learning days -- see additional information below (program is closed on July 3, 2026) Work Times: 7:45am - 12:30pm, Monday - Friday OR 12:15pm - 4:45pm Monday - Friday Pay: Step 1 of Nurse Salary Schedule = $ 61.06 per hour Additional Information: June 16th & June 17th: PD for ALL all summer staff June 18th: Dedicated site meetings and & set up day (required for all summer staff) June 22nd: First day with students!
