Saw Operator

Overview
Our dynamic manufacturing team is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Saw Operator to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a production saw to cut aluminum and stainless steel materials according to precise specifications. Responsibilities

• Operate production saw equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure and cut aluminum and stainless steel materials to required dimensions.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of saw equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and fabrication projects to meet production deadlines efficiently.
• Keep detailed records of machine setups, production logs, inspection reports, and maintenance activities for accountability and continuous improvement.

Skills

• Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and adjustments during fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with tooling setup and adjustment for various cutting and machining operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating industrial saws or similar machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift and handle materials safely (up to 50lbs).

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
