Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of our fireplace products and accessories.
No experience in this field required. Training will be offered to the ideal candidate.
All work done in person.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and shipping of fireplace products.
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction as the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees.
Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical counts.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight companies, and other external partners to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage the scheduling and dispatching of deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict safety and cleanliness standards in the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent Walking/Pushing/Pulling/Carrying: Up to 50lbs, up to 10 feet, occasionally more.
- Constant Standing: All work performed on feet
- Frequent Stooping: Reaching; To a height of 6 feet
- Frequent Climbing: Ladders
- Frequent Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs comfortably
