About the Role
We’re seeking Fiberglass Mold Technicians to help maintain, repair, and modify molds used in our fiberglass pool manufacturing process. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with molds, ensuring their integrity and functionality while making necessary modifications and repairs.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in repairing damage to molds caused by routine use
- Modify molds and supporting frameworks as needed
- Support construction and reconstruction of molds to meet production needs
- Operate a variety of power tools, including grinders, drills, cutting tools, jigs, gauges, and pneumatic tools
- Follow proper chemical handling procedures and use PPE such as respirators, knee pads, anti-slip socks, and fall protection
- Read and interpret mold construction drawings
- Work in physically demanding environments, including climbing, bending, and kneeling
- Wear a full-face respirator (after passing respiratory testing)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with fiberglass construction or auto body repair
- Comfortable using shop-related tools and equipment
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Physically capable of working in various positions for extended periods
- Understanding of safety protocols and chemical handling procedures
