Quality Improvement Manager

Job Description

World class provider of flexible packaging and P/S labels is hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager for their Boston, MA facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Implement, drive, and maintain company-wide quality program.
• Implement continuous improvement practices that will add value to the company, drive best in class practices and improve culture.
• Lead Continuous Improvement teams focusing on Lean Practices and overall process improvements.
• Lead and manage all operational excellence/quality area including ISO and other corporate initiatives.
• Be a resource for all operational global teams in data analysis, support, problem-solving supporting facilities in driving decision making for operational excellence.
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events that support global strategies, business needs and continuous improvements.
• Drive sustainability through training, documentation and audits.
• Prepare and maintain documents for quality programs including BRC and ISO standards.
• Understand the corrective action process. Use and manage the NCR system.
  
  

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Process and/or Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment. Print industry preferred.
• Experience analyzing data through use of quality statistical tools: IE Minitab, Excel, DPMO and Six Sigma methods.
• Experience with ISO and BRC standards.
• Certified in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S or other major continuous improvement practice preferred.
• Solid relationship building skills with clients, hourly employees and management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
