Position: Shift Mechanic 2nd SHIFT - - 4pm-Midnight
Department: Maintenance
Payrate: $18 - $22 /hour DEPENGIND ON EXPERIENCE
Description: Responsible for conducting routine servicing to all manufacturing equipment and leading repairs of all equipment to maintain maximum equipment productivity.
General Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance
Troubleshooting Machines
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Recommend safety improvements
Comply with all safety and management programs
Be an active participant in work team development
Keep workplace clean and orderly
Provide on-the-job training as assigned by supervisor for other employees
Job Description:
Maintenance
Operations of multimeter and amp meter
Preventative maintenance
Changing bearings, various types of shafts, gearboxes, sprockets and chains
Belt replacement and tracking
Pneumatic replacement and/or rebuild
Knowledge of electrical diagrams and schematics
Replacing breakers, contacts, coils, timers, etc.
Programming PLCs, soft starts and inverters
Voltage 24V up to 575V
Welding and fabrication
Operation of forklift
Operation of scissor lift
General Requirements:
Capable of performing tasks including but not limited to:
working at heights and working in confined spaces
Able to read, write and convey ideas.
Must be able to life at least 50 pounds with adequate body flexibility.
