What are the responsibilities and job description for the Main Line Service Advisor position at Leif Johnson?
We are seeking an experienced, driven and customer-focused Main Line Service Advisor to join our Ford Service Department. This position is responsible for greeting customers on the service drive, taking all and accurate information of the guests concerns while being very thorough, managing the customer's repair experience from initial write-up through final delivery while maintaining strong communication, accurate documentation and a high level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment, and able to build trust with customers while recommending necessary maintenance and repairs.

Review appointments before the next day
Greet customers promptly and professionally
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms
Perform a complete service walk-around and review vehicle history
Determine and recommend maintenance base on age/mileage/condition and history of prior service history
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Obtain customer authorization throughout the repair process
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
Ability to identify the problem quickly
Knowledge of automobiles
Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
Past experience as a service advisor or service consultant
Very energetic personality
A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
Personal and professional integrity
Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Minimum of 1 year in service department
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Review technician video inspections and communicate recommended repairs to customers
Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order

- Follow up with customer after service completed for customer satisfaction survey
- Meet dealership goals for sales, customer satisfaction and repair-order performance
- Maintain an organized work area and comply with dealership and Ford processes
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

Salary : $40,000 - $190,000
