This role includes developing and maintaining technical documentation and supporting Systems Administration (SA) and GOTS products. The ideal candidate is adaptable, willing to learn, and effective in a small, mission-focused team that regularly collaborates with users, customers, and partner teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support all phases of the system engineering lifecycle from concept through sustainment
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawing packages
- Install, configure, and manage Linux-based systems (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky)
- Support and maintain GOTS software solutions
- Configure and manage STE/STN systems in connected and disconnected environments
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, users, and customers to support mission needs
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years, or PhD with 2 years, or no degree with 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong Systems Administration (SA) experience
- Strong Linux experience, including installation, configuration, and management
- Experience with authentication/authorization (FreeIPA/Active Directory)
- Experience with STE/STN environments
- Experience installing and maintaining GOTS software
- Strong testing and troubleshooting skills, including scripting (Bash/Python)
- Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with shared storage solutions
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Data flow experience
- Familiarity with Ansible or SALT
- Experience with Helm charts, YAML, or DevOps practices
