Following an initial 6-8 week onboarding period, this role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with up to 50% remote work. One in-office day (Wednesday) is required; the remaining schedule is flexible.

Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. This position supports a team providing software development services for an organization responsible for disseminating data to customers across the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
- Performing User Interface testing against requirements
- Identifying data to be used during testing
- Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress
- Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java
- Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts
- Experience in testing for accessibility
- Defining test strategies for future capabilities
- Managing project artifacts
- Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Masters in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Candidates without Masters Degrees will be considered on a case by case basis.
- Twelve or more years' directly related technical experience
- Eight or more years of test engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)
- Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)
