The Journeyman Full Stack Application Developer will provide software development and sustainment support to the USSOCOM J6 Budget Tool. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain application features in support of the USSOCOM J6 Budget Tool.
- Implement responsive front-end interfaces using Angular.
- Develop back-end services and APIs using .NET and C#.
- Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures.
- Develop and maintain Windows Services for workflow automation and system integration.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Ensure applications adhere to DoD cybersecurity and secure coding standards.
- Support lifecycle management activities including requirements gathering, design documentation, deployment, and sustainment.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to meet mission needs.
- Requires BS and 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (mandatory).
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security CE, CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
- 3–7 years of experience as an application developer (Journeyman level).
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Angular (front-end development)
- .NET and C# (back-end development)
- SQL Server (database development and optimization)
- Windows Services (design and maintenance)
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Experience with USSOCOM or DoD financial systems.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services.
- Familiarity with PowerApps/ O365 Environment a plus.
- Experience working within DISA STIGs, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
