Primary Responsibilities
Leads Cable & Box Build Operations sections
Directly involved with staffing teams to ensure capability and capacity within the operations team
Leads teams to determine systematic solutions for new and existing problems
Candidate will have direct involvement with NPI as well as improving existing product efficiencies and yields
Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to evaluate product and process designs
Lead continuous improvements projects
Ensure operations team maintains a safe and organized environment with a focus on quality and productivity
Tracks and provides input for training needs to ensure a capable workforce
Identify and monitor KPI metrics
Communicate with scheduling and production control team to execute weekly and monthly production plans
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Need 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance
Previous experience with electronics manufacturing (Cable and/or Electro-Mechanical)
Experience with MES software
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with IPC requirements (J-STD-001, IPC-610, IPC-620)
Experience with electronics used on launch vehicles, targets, or missile components such as PCBAs, cable harnesses, or electro-mechanical assemblies
Experience working in a mid to high volume manufacturing environment
Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project or program teams in one family

Pay Range:
Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
