TITLE:
Paraprofessional Sub Separate in Pre K Monday, Wednesday & Friday PT
QUALIFICATIONS:
An associate's degree, two years of college, or passing the state assessment is required to support students with moderate to severe special needs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sub Separate Paraprofessional is expected to support students’ academic needs. In carrying out these responsibilities, the sub-separate paraprofessional shall:
•Follow student programming
•Collect and graph data, if necessary
•Provide reinforcement strategies
•Use appropriate prompting procedures
•Assist with Activities of Daily Living
•Experience with behavior de-escalation strategies preferred
* Any such other related duties as may be assigned by the building principal or designee.
The paraprofessional must also be able to communicate effectively with students and staff. He/she shall be punctual in all assignments, observe all District policies appropriate to this position, and accept responsibility for assigned tasks.
