Role Overview
Client Advisors are the face of Leica within the store. They are trusted partners to clients, responsible for developing long-term relationships, delivering personalized experiences, and driving sales through storytelling, expertise, and exceptional service.
In addition to sales performance, Client Advisors are accountable for supporting operational excellence - ensuring compliance, visual merchandising, inventory accuracy, and flawless execution of in-store activities in alignment with Leica's global retail standards, including clienteling and CRM discipline.
This position reports to the Deputy Manager and General Manager and plays a key role in translating Leica's heritage of innovation, craftsmanship, and culture into every client interaction.

Sales & Client Experience
- Deliver world-class, personalized service that reflects Leica's standards of excellence and authenticity.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive client engagement and relationship management.
- Develop and maintain a client portfolio through CRM, outreach, follow-up communication, and personalized experiences.
- Demonstrate product mastery across all Leica categories - including cameras, lenses, sport optics, projection, and accessories - while conveying the brand's storytelling and values.
- Engage clients through meaningful demonstrations, workshops, and events in partnership with the Gallery and Leica Akademie teams.
- Represent Leica across all client-facing platforms, including Leica Classics, Speak to an Expert, and other digital or experiential touchpoints, ensuring consistency and professionalism.
- Execute all global retail and clienteling standards, ensuring accurate CRM documentation, follow-ups, and client outreach activities.
- Execute all operational standards, including accurate transactions, cash handling, product registration, and CRM data integrity.
- Participate in daily and weekly cycle counts, inventory management, and stock accuracy initiatives to ensure compliance with corporate procedures.
- Support visual merchandising compliance, maintaining presentation standards aligned with HQ and regional directives.
- Ensure the store environment consistently meets Leica's standards for cleanliness, organization, and client readiness.
- Contribute to marketing and event execution, including setup, teardown, client coordination, and post-event follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Manager to ensure smooth execution of shipping, receiving, product transfers, and back-of-house organization.
- Maintain awareness of audit readiness and participate in operational reviews to ensure alignment with Leica global retail standards.
- Partner with fellow Client Advisors to ensure a cohesive, service-driven environment that prioritizes client experience and operational excellence.
- Participate actively in team meetings, trainings, and briefings to stay informed on product launches, brand initiatives, and operational priorities.
- Provide feedback and insights from clients and daily operations to the store management team to help shape local strategy and service improvements.
- Support peers and management during high-volume periods, events, and operational projects to ensure smooth store functioning.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in premium or luxury retail sales.
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver high sales performance.
- Strong operational and organizational skills, with demonstrated accuracy in POS, inventory, and CRM systems.
- Technical aptitude in photography, videography, or creative arts preferred.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and events.
- Passionate storyteller with deep curiosity for photography, design, and culture.
- Client-focused and relationship-oriented with a natural ability to build trust.
