The Senior Director, Global Product Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for the end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management of the Instrument and Consumable product portfolio within the Core Histology Business Unit. In this role, you will collaborate closely with R&D, commercial teams, and senior leadership to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across a broad range of products.
As part of the Core Histology Business Unit, this position will be located onsite in Deer Park, IL or Richmond, IL, and you will play a critical role in shaping the future of anatomic pathology labs and adjacent markets with a diverse portfolio of products and solutions.
As the Senior Director, you will report to the SVP, Core Business and lead a global team of product managers. This position will require strong strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to execute complex global initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

In this role, you will have the importunity to:
- Lead the Global Product Management Team: Oversee the Instrument and Consumable portfolio for Core Histology, guiding a high-performing team of product managers.
- Define and Execute Product Strategy: Identify market opportunities, define customer use cases, and develop a robust product strategy to maximize business growth.
- Portfolio Rationalization: Streamline the product portfolio by eliminating low-value offerings and ensuring alignment with evolving market needs and business goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive data-driven, customer-centric decisions.
- Drive Product Commercialization: Oversee product commercialization processes, ensuring smooth and timely launches while aligning with broader business objectives.
- Coordinate with R&D, marketing, and commercial teams to bring products to market successfully.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Build a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration by developing and mentoring a talented product management team.
- Foster continuous growth within your team to drive exceptional business results.
- Education: BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 10 years of Product Management or marketing experience, preferably within the medical device or in-vitro diagnostics industries.
- 5 years of leadership experience in commercial roles with proven success in driving business results.
- Proven Track Record: Successful experience in managing and growing a global product portfolio, driving both core growth and profitability.
- Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed global environment, influencing key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve complex operational and organizational challenges by leveraging both internal and external resources.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of key business drivers and the factors that maximize performance in your area of responsibility.
