Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients and represent our company during deliveries. A strong focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations is essential.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products efficiently, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate records of deliveries made.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
- Engage in heavy lifting and moving of products as required by the nature of the deliveries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
- Ability to operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles safely, including knowledge of manual transmission driving.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as part of daily duties.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
