What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Assistant position at Lehrkinds Coca- Cola?
As a Driver Assistant you'll be trained to become a full Route Delivery Driver. In the beginning, you'll head out with a driver each day and you'll be the first one out of the truck to unload product and get it stocked. This position works in tandem with our Route Delivery Crew and strives for maximum safety and efficiency. Once you're comfortable with our handheld devices and routes, you'll drive a box truck with your own helper.
The schedule is currently Monday - Friday.
Each day you'll visit customer locations and will ensure that each stop is stocked according to Lehrkinds standards. You’ll make sure that all products distributed by Coca-Cola/Mountain Country Coors are properly displayed, stocked, and rotated at all times and that product back stock and breakage is kept under control. You'll work to keep the back of the truck organized and clean and that dunnage is under control.
We cover Bozeman and the surrounding area and you must be able to lift 20lbs to 50lbs continuously and we do deliver kegs as well (165lbs). This position is very active and requires regular walking , twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing. With downtime in between locations, you've gotta be able to hustle when you hit the stops!
Full-time positions include company paid Health insurance employer HSA contribution, paid Vacation, paid Holidays, and 401k retirement plan contribution match. Average work week is 40 hours for full-time employees.
Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment drug test with the possibility of being selected for quarterly random drug screenings. (We cannot accommodate medical or recreational marijuana.)
