We are seeking professional and personable Servers to join our team as we continue to preserve tradition while elevating the guest experience.
Position Overview
As a Server at Lehman’s Supper Club, you are the face of the dining experience. You’ll provide attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious service to guests in an upscale yet welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly; create a welcoming atmosphere
- Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food, drinks, and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them efficiently into the POS system
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely, professional manner
- Knowledge of supper club traditions—cocktails, relish trays, Friday fish fry, prime rib, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and specialty drinks
- Pre-bus, clear tables, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Handle guest concerns or requests with professionalism and urgency
- Process payments accurately (cash, credit card, split checks, etc.)
- Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and hosts to ensure smooth service
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food-handling standards
- Assist with side work: rolling silverware, filling condiments, restocking, cleaning service areas
- Knowledge and experience with event and catering services.
Qualifications
✔ Previous serving experience preferred; fine dining or supper club experience a plus
✔ Strong customer service and communication skills
✔ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
✔ Professional appearance and positive attitude
✔ Must be at least 18 years old (to serve alcohol)
✔ Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
✔ Weekend, holiday, and evening availability required
